Krone makes changes at senior management level
Spelle, March 2013 – On 1st February, Dr Uwe Hansult joined the divisional management team at Maschinenfabrik Bernard Krone GmbH & Co. KG. Dr Hansult (50) is now responsible for Production, Logistics and Procurement. He has taken over from Siegfried Wickert who, with effect from 1st May 2013, moves to Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co. KG as Managing Director. Wickert (58), who has been a member of the Krone management since 1997, will have an overarching role in supervising strategic projects involving production, procurement and investment.
“Krone products have been in exceptional demand on the global markets for several years now,” said Managing Partner Bernard Krone. “To meet this demand, we not only need to increase the size of our production facilities but also optimise our factory processes even further. We are resolutely pressing ahead with this project and are consequently delighted that we now have such an experienced and all-round talented colleague as Dr Hansult on board. At the same time, this has freed up Siegfried Wickert to focus on strategic initiatives in the areas of production, procurement and investment. Moreover, these will cover all divisions of the Krone Group which currently does business in over 50 countries.”
“I spent many years working in the utility vehicle sector, so I had already acquired a healthy respect for the Krone brand,” added Dr Hansult. “It has therefore been tremendously exciting for me to get to know the Krone agricultural machinery division. At the Spelle plant, they have been systematically working on the optimisation of processes and procedures for a number of years. The first major stages have already been implemented, but there are still many challenges and tasks that must be addressed in the next few years. And I feel very privileged to be a part of this.”
