Weighing system on Comprima X-treme baler wrappers

Spelle, August 2018. Krone now offers a bale weighing system for all its Comprima X-treme round baler wrappers. Installed on the wrapping table, the system instantly determines the weight of the bale as this arrives on the table, displaying the reading on the cab-based terminal screen. Offering an accuracy of +/- 3%, the system is equally beneficial for operators and customers. Storing the accumulated total bale weight to the customer memory, it provides clear information on the harvest result at the end of the job.
The new weighing system for Comprima X-treme baler wrappers once again underscores the Krone strategy to specify its machines with useful technology. Weighing systems have been available for BiG Pack balers and some forage wagons since 2011.
