KRONE SmartControl – Convenient Order Management
With SmartControl, Krone is implementing convenient and efficient order management for field and customer data with order processing recorded automatically.
Spelle, November 2024: With SmartControl, Krone has introduced a practical solution for order management. The system simplifies recording of order, customer and field data while ensuring that the driver can concentrate fully and solely on his main task – driving.
Smooth workflow
SmartControl works in combination with the KRONE SmartConnect 500 telemetry unit, ensuring that orders are started and stopped automatically – without the driver having to be involved manually at all. Field boundaries together with field and customer data are transferred wirelessly to the SmartConnect of the KRONE machine at the beginning of the process by a farm management system connected with the agrirouter. With automatic order start activated, the order starts as soon as the machine enters the field. When it leaves the field the order is stopped automatically and sent off. If no field boundaries are available or the driver has not started any order manually, AutoLogger takes over data acquisition to prevent any gaps in data.
Easy to operate and flexible to use
Operation of KRONE SmartControl is also easy and flexible. The system can be operated with any mobile terminal device via the SmartConnect 500 WLAN. Thanks to the clearly arranged user interface, the driver has a good view of all important information: The left side contains the "Customers", "Fields" and "Orders" tabs while the right side shows a satellite map with the fields boundaries marked. The fields are marked in colour and the driver's location is displayed, clearly indicating which field is currently being processed and which fields have already been completed or are still scheduled. With the BiG X forage harvester there is no need for a mobile terminal device, as operation is also possible directly via the X-Touch terminal.
Detailed evaluations at the touch of a button
The machine data is transferred in real time via SmartConnect to the Smart Telematics application in the mykrone.green central support. The orders created automatically by SmartControl are also saved there as reports. These can be filtered and analysed quickly and simply by customers or fields. The reports can be easily exported as pdf or Excel files – ideal for precise and efficient invoicing or documentation. This completely eliminates extensive manual comparison and time-consuming manual recording of data.

KRONE SmartControl reduces manual data entry and automates many processes so the driver can direct his full attention to his work. The possibility of evaluating and exporting machine data in KRONE Smart Telematics makes order management significantly easier. For example, information about services provided on the respective fields or for the respective customer can be called up later quickly and easily. An ideal solution for farmers and contractors who want to optimise their work processes and concentrate on the essential.
